Peru 2004 - Last day, Homeward bound

After a walk into Miraflores, a trip to the supermarket and a lovely final meal it was time to head to the airport for our 24 hour journey home.

In the Supermarket the grains, sugars and pulses were sold loose - just like they were here once upon a time.

Here we are eating our last meal together in Peru.  From right to left are Alan, your's truly, Sue Garwood, Ann Collins (mum), Tim Riley, Chris Riley and Steve Garwood.

All we had now left of our trip was a long haul flight back to Madrid, then a shorter one back to Heathrow.  The journey lasted twenty four hours door to door.

We arrived home tired but with minds full of memories of an amazing country, beautiful scenery and a fascinating and spell binding history.  Go there - you will love it!
