A never ending jigsaw puzzle!

Clicking on the the tree image will take you to a web site which contains a complete indexed export of my genealogical records.  The dates, names and other information have been obtained from a multitude of sources - I cannot guarantee the accuracy unless the source information is noted.

The other thing I would like to clarify straight away is that the information given here is a work in progress, and as such should not be considered as primary evidence in any research of your own.  Much of the information I have obtained second or even third hand, so I cannot vouch for the accuracy of that particular information. I do upload corrections and additions periodically, and particularly value emails and contact from people where they feel my information is wrong or incomplete.

In my early days of genealogical data recording, I was rather lax on noting the sources of my information, so am now having to face going through the entire database to correct this rather sorry state of affairs.  This is not going to happen quickly!  I am also, slowly, seeking to prove the data on my direct lines personally by referring to the source records, rather than relying on second hand information.  Again this is going to be both slow and painful, and I make no promises, although you will find progress is being made!

However, having said all of that, I believe the data to be pretty much accurate - I try to ensure I have proof before entering information onto my family tree - however human error, typing mistakes and dodgy research (on my part) is certain to ensure there are mistakes in a database of this size!
