The postcards here are examples from my extensive collection, chosen either for their interest value or because they contain views of places connected with my family. I don't usually include scans of cards printed within the last 50 years or so. There are a few scans of cards belonging to other family members, and one or two images, where they are especially interesting (at least to me!), taken from the Internet. The vast majority shown here are topographical cards showing locations in the British Isles.
Simply choose the category you wish to view from the menu in the bottom left hand window, then use the scroll bars to navigate the thumbnails.
Then click on one of the thumbnail pictures in the window above - again the scroll bars enable you to access more.
Please get in touch with me if you can provide more information about any of the views shown here or would like to contribute scans of relevant old postcards.
I specialise in postcards of Tunbridge Wells (& district) and Chiddingstone in Kent together with wind and water mills - you will find most here belong to those categories! As I am also the web master for the Sussex Online Parish Clerks website, I now put my Sussex cards into the postcard collection on that site and will probably remove the Sussex section here in due course.
The section on Tunbridge Wells has some images from late 19th century and early 20th century guidebooks to supplement the collection of postcard images

As these postcards are all antique, hopefully I have not infringed any copyright regulations. If by some chance I have, please let me know and I will remove the offending image.
