This building in Albion Road, just after the junction with Camden Road, has now been converted into residential apartments.
There is a page for Albion Road Chapel in my Church Album with a modern picture.
In my view, this is one of the nicest buildings in Tunbridge Wells, situated in Mount Pleasant Road opposite the Opera House. There is a wonderful vista, which frames this building, from Monson Road.
This etching, dated 1861, shows the building before the addition of the portico in 1866 and the erection of surrounding buildings.
And this image, from the early 20th century, shows the building as altered.
This church is also featured in my Church Album, here, where there is also a description and modern pictures of the building in its new guise as a Habitat store.
