I was very pleased to be able to purchase this reproduction of an old postcard of Ashurst Railway station in the days when the L.B.S.C. Railway ran steam trains on this route.
This station was disgracefully demolished in the late 1970s.
There is a picture of the railway line further downstream where it crosses the river in my photograph album.
There are pictures of St Martin of Tours Church, Ashurst, in my Church Album.
