We finally made honest men of each other at the Register Office, Southover Grange, Lewes. Here we are coming into the ceremony, Alan accompanied by his sister Anita, Mark by his brother Lance, hidden behind Alan's mum, Vera.
Here we are signing the register (or pretending too - it was already done by this stage).
Mark's cousin Rachel Wild and very good friend Tim Hopgood agreed to be our witnesses.
Here we are posing after the ceremony - the registrar is doing something with the sound system!
Our 'Best Lady' was Mark's cousin Catherine Walker - who did a magnificent job, and didn't lose the rings. She is on the right of the next photo. We're all looking rather red in the face - it was a very warm morning!
Here is Mark with his aunt Julie Butler outside the registry office.
Outside again with half of Matthew Collins, Vera Loze (Alan's mum) and Mark having a hug, Tracey Collins (Mark's sister in law), Madelaine Wild, Rachel Wild, Alan's back and Linn Holford.
Here is Alan shaking hands with his brother in law Paul Avis, Vera, Alan's mum to the left.
Here is everyone outside the Register Office; it was roasting hot and I've already shed my jacket.
