I include these photographs taken by my father on a family holiday in 1967 as it contains some interesting pictures of a working windmill in Portugal, including a picture of the miller. His wife is also visible standing in the doorway of the mill.
The miller gave our whole family a guided tour of the mill - I can't remember much about it but do remember the fine white flour that seemed to coat everything inside the building!
Notice the cockerel on the summit of the cap - Portugal's national symbol.
What a shame the slides have become so grubby over the years!
