All Souls is a most unexpected appearance of Italian Romanesque architecture! Situated in Susans Road it was designed by Alfred P Strong, a London based architect, and erected in 1882. It it built of red and yellow brick with terracotta dressings and has a tall campanile which stands 83 feet high.
The funding for the building of the church was provided by Lady Victoria Wellesley, great-niece of the Duke of Wellington.
