St Mary the Virgin & St Mary Magdalene, Brighton, East Sussex - 25th July 1965

This building was situated in Bread Street, off Church Street.  It was built in 1862 as the first of his numerous churches by the Reverend Arthur Douglas Wagner and it was designed by G F Bodley.  It served one of the poorest quarters of the town.  It closed in 1948 and was demolished in 1965.
