This mill once stood on the hill overlooking the Ashcombe roundabout (to the south of Lewes) on the A27. The card was published by A H Homewood of Burgess Hill in Sussex and was posted in 1906.
She was built in the early 19th century and was of a rare six sailed type, very rare in England. Sadly the mill was destroyed during a storm in 1916.
