Pictures of the devastation caused by a serious fire on June 23rd 1906.
The first, an external view from the south, shows clearly the damage to the tower and the nave roofs.
The second shows the damage to the interior.
Here is a detail from the above card.
This is the view, again from a Mezzotint Co card, looking west under the gallery. The card was posted in 1907.
The following views of the fire damage are from reproductions in the church and some would seem to be derived from the same series of cards.
