The Rectory, Chiddingstone, Kent

This view, probably dating from about 1910-1920, shows the Rectory which stands to the north of the church.  I assume we can see the Rector and his wife and dog.

This card dates from the 1950's and shows the old rectory from a vantage position at the top of the tower of St Mary's Church.  The cottage to the west has been demolished, as has the large glazed porch.  Interestingly, the outline of the flower beds visible in the picture above can still be seen in the grass!
