This tower mill, built of a brick skin with a clunch lining, was built by local millwrights, Fysons of Soham in 1857. She replaced an earlier post mill on the same site and was purchased by the Foster family who worked her until she ceased grinding in 1946.
The mill restoration began in 1970 and she began grinding corn again in 1992. The outside is coated in black tar to weatherproof the building.
