Toads in our garden, 5th August 2004

While rebuilding our patio, we found these little creatures in amongst the rubble - how we didn't squash them is remarkable.  They seemed happy to pose for the camera!

And here is a close up.  They measured about an inch and a half in length, so they must be young ones.
