4th July 2001 ~ Training in the Lake District

Mark in the stretcher July 2001

During a management training week in the Lake District, it was felt it would be character building for me, with my high need for control, to be strapped into a stretcher and lowered by my team mates over a cliff.  The exercise was a simulated Mountain Rescue and I confess to being petrified!!

Whether or not it did anything for my character is another question altogether!
