Waterwheel, Painshill Park, Cobham, Surrey - 1983 

When I lived in Cobham I wrote many letters to my local newspaper to help support the restoration and reopening of this fantastic landscaped garden.

Here is a picture of the waterwheel, before restoration.  It was used, and now is again I believe, to raise water to feed the garden's lakes from the River Mole.
