M25 Scaffolding, Wey Navigation, Surrey - January 1981

During my final year at Surrey University a group of friends from the Christian Union spent a couple of days on a narrow boat on the Wey Navigation in Surrey.

The Wey Navigation passes close to the M25 close to Weybridge, and in 1981 this monster road was still under construction.  I took this photo through the maze of scaffolding which has created an interesting image.
