Japanese Anemones - 25th August 2002

We are very fortunate in that Japanese Anemones thrive in out garden.  From the in initial half dozen or so plants we brought from our previous garden, we now have dozens of them.  The flowers, in white and pink (as shown here) appear in late August and give the garden a real boost towards the end of the summer.

Mum is really envious as they refuse to grow in her garden!
