Linfield Church is much larger and grander than I expected from the view seen from the High Street, hidden as it is by the other buildings.
The church is much altered from its origins in the C13th . Clearly a centre for a vibrant Christian community, the building exudes life and vitality. Here are a few pictures of this lovely building.
The spire is shingled, and the interesting guide available in the church points out that as these have to be replaced relatively frequently, this has been an ongoing significant cost for the parish.
