Mount Hermon Baptist Chapel, Turners Green, Warbleton, East Sussex - 2nd August 2004

Sadly this little chapel had become dangerous by 2004 when this photograph was taken - a sign warned visitors that there was a risk of falling brickwork in high winds.

The building was erected built in 1865.

Hermon Baptist Chapel, Warbleton, East Sussex - MTC

The chapel was rescued by Peter Bowers, who purchased the building in 2006 after it was no longer required as a chapel.  He has completely restored the building, keeping all original features, and the chapel, now known as The Chantry, has a new life as a fully licensed venue for civil ceremonies.  Take a look at the website, http://www.weddingvenuesussex.co.uk/, for more information and internal and external views of the building following restoration.
