This chapel, at Mark Cross is part of a complex of buildings that was once an orphanage dedicated to St Michael which opened in 1869. Later it was to become the Junior Seminary St Joseph's College (1925 to 1970) for training students for the priesthood.
The building was hard to photograph without trespassing, the complex is now the Jameah Islamic independent school. The buildings were designed by Edward Pugin.
