Following a cross on my ordnance survey map, I found this building, which, following information from Bob Shaylor (a former pupil) that this was once Red Lake Junior School. He was taught by Mrs Heywood c.1953. Therefore it looks as if it was never a church; I must follow up the cross on the map again!
