The window over the south door has ancient glass. The rest of the windows in the south wall contain clear glass.
The east window of the south aisle contains old glass depicting the arms of Echyngham.
The 19th century windows in the north aisle, are to my eye, the most attractive in the building.
The east window in the north aisle depicts (from left to right) Abel, Christ crowned with thorns, and Melchizedec.
This is the most easterly window in the north wall (subjects not identified) and the next along to the west, which depicts St Augustine of Canterbury and Saint Bede the Venerable.
The final window in the north wall is more modern and carries the memorial "To the dear memory of Maud Mary Frewer who died aged 24 years on January 26th 1906 RIP".
The window in the west wall depicts the patron saint, St George.
Chancel, south wall - "I was sick and ye visited me", & "He is not here but is risen".
The eastern window has tracery which is elaborate by English standards and suggests a European influence.
Chancel, north wall - "But one thing is needful", "Maid arise".

Digital Photographs
The images on this page have been electronically corrected for perspective distortion, which may have resulted in slight corruption of the aspect ratio. In addition the windows are not all depicted to the same scale.
