I love this picture and would love to be able to positively identify these individuals. The man has such sparkling eyes and you can sense (if not see!) his smile under the copious beard.
When I met Bill in 1998 with his brother Jack they both were sure these were relations, and were probably their mother's parents (Blackburn). Perhaps someone else knows for sure?
